As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating with the paid media, optimization, creative, and account services teams to maximize SEO value. You will serve as an SEO expert determining and executing an SEO strategy following data analysis and best practices for excellent organic search performance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve organic performance for our clients by using strong analytical and technical SEO skills
  • Help implement SEO action plans with other SEO team members and clients
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead medium to advanced SEO projects
  • Manage and execute day-to-day tactical operations of strategies including, but not limited to: keyword research, copywriting, content optimization, technical SEO, content marketing, and data analysis
  • Possess or understand the factors for local search management and management of local search initiatives
  • Conduct local audits and provide recommendations in coordination with local search visibility
  • Optimize on-site content for maximum organic performance; this includes HTML, site structure, as well as page layout and navigation considerations
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Monitor site traffic reports and key reporting tools and provide insights
  • Dive into website issues as they occur, perform ad hoc analyses as needed, and help drive issues to resolution
  • Keep up-to-date with latest industry and SEO trends, algorithm changes, and content optimization best practices
  • Additional job responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in SEO
  • Automotive experience a plus
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Proven experience in using data to identify issues and create clear actions to improve organic and site performance
  • Ability to perform analysis of websites by reviewing Google Analytics, Search Console, and site content for best practices
  • Functional knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and Schema
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience with SEO tools (including but not limited to: SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, DeepCrawl, etc.)

You organize/manage workflow; coordinating with the team to develop strategy, manage accounts, project plans, project coordination, reporting and analysis. You will serve as an SEO expert determining and executing an SEO strategy following data analysis and best practices for excellent organic search performance.
